Sometimes dog training needs more than a one to one approach, the dog needs individual time with a Dog Trainer/Behaviourist, rather than the owners. The reasons could anything from struggling with an over exuberant teen which is pushing all the buttons, to a dog with extreme dog to dog issues or a sheep killer.
The dog will live with me on the farm, engaging with my own dogs, livestock and have one to one time with myself throughout the day, and night.
The amount of time needed working with myself can be anything from a few days, to weeks depending on the behaviour issues.
This training is not to be used for lack of training on the owner’s part, dog’s should always train with their owners to build the bond and relationship. Residential training is usually for specialised training issues. Once training has finished the owner will have to spend a time with me and the dog, to teach them how to handle their dog.
Many owners use this service in conjuntion with family holidays. You go on holiday, relaxed in the knowledge that your dog is with a professional, getting one on one time and training.
Assessment of the dog will take place before commencing any residential training in order to assess the needs of the dog and owners, and discuss the limitations of residential training as well as what to expect from it.
Each dog and owner is different, so there is no set cost for all training..

£50 deposit is required upon booking.
It is usually a bare minimum of a week training with myself in order to get good progress. Sometimes training plans will have to be extended depending on the progress.
